Playing with Zeke’s Quilt

Spent a few hours this evening playing with this quilt top, this is the beginning of a heart shape. Even though it looks very free form, I drew a heart shape on graph paper. I then translated that into the size needed to use 2.5 inch strips. I use the squares on the graph paper to determine the placement of the color. Easy and really no math, just measuring.

I also sewed the first pieces of the Mystery Quilt. This is not the placement, except the center, the small square-in-squares will be in other places, just do not have the next clue to find out.
